Our History

Canei Nilinda SimpsonMarvin & Antoinette Simpson are the Founders of Canei Community Development Consortium (C.C.D.C.). They have been married for over thirteen years and have eight children blended. The organization was named after their daughter, Canei Nilinda Simpson.  She was killed in a vehicle accident on February 28, 2004 at the age of 11 years old.

On Wednesday nights at “Word Up” Bible Study (at Friendship Community Church, College Park GA); Canei was known to fill up the church bus with Bear Creek Middle School students. She lived only a short life, but in that life she impacted the lives of so many. The organization was developed to pay tribute to this precious angel.
