Raising Up to New Heights Youth Camp

This Summer Program Will Provide:

  • Help to nurture our youth and strengthen the communities by instilling within them values and principles that will help guide them through life
  • Help for youth that come from single parent homes, who are growing up in poverty, or those who are at-risk and in need of addition assistance
  • Help to reduce risky behaviors such as illegal drugs and alcohol usage, and school drop-outs
  • Career Readiness Training, College Campus Tours, Etiquette, Purity and Cultural Enrichment, and a Summer Reading component
  • A free service to the residents of East Point Housing

What else is included?

  • Breakfast in the morning served from 8am-8:45am.
  • Inspirational Moments (9:00am-9:20am) – design to teach and build positive character within our youth. (Biblical)
  • Enrichment Classes (9:30am-11:30am) life skills classes improve youth
  • knowledge and skills needed to develop them physically, emotionally, and socially.
  • Black History Project consists of youths separate into teams and doing research on famous and successful black people on the computer.  This is designed to build self-pride. The youth will be presenting the project. The winning team receives a small token.
