  • October 11- Group Session – Career Readiness- Mrs. Antoinette Simpson
  • Give an Interest Profile Assessment Test (from Georgia 411 site).  The assessment will help figure out what interests a youth may have and match them to careers.
  • October 25- Group Session- Career Readiness (Part 2) – Mrs. Antoinette Simpson
  • Have youth research the requirements of the career that was chosen:
  • Education Level
  • Salary
  • Look into colleges to obtain the appropriate degree.

November 2011

  • November 8, 2011-Career Day – Panel of the Top 7 Careers that was chosen from the Mentees.
  • November 22- Mission Project (Mentees donated Turkeys and Collars Green to 50 families from the College Park area.)

December 2011

  • December 6- Group Mentoring Session (Christmas Party at “This Is It” Restaurant)
